Joshua the magician performs a dissappearence act!

Hello fellow hamsters.

In case you have forgotten, it’s a-me, Joshua! The proud son of the Monty and Maza.

Yeah, I think a re-introduction was in order because I haven’t blogged for a while. I had a very adventurous month, that’s why.

Nick leaves me free to roam in his house almost every night. He is annoyed with my sleep pattern. It has changed a bit and I wake up a lot later than I used to. I used to wake up at 20:00. Lately, I do not leave my warm nest before 22:00. Ah, yes, I forgot. It’s getting a lot colder.

I spent a lot of time making a big warm nest every morning and then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I get out of my cage and start running all over the house. But usually I just go straight into my mother’s old cage and use her wheel. What can I say, I am a wheel-addict!

Some weeks ago, I made a disappearance act. I disappeared for one whole day. I never returned in my cage. Nick went nuts. He started looking for me all over the place, under the bed, behind the sofa. I had so much fun watching them from my hiding corner. He found me eventually. When he found me I was asleep and they woke me up. He found me by chance. Nick opened the kitchen’s lower cupboard, and there I was. Sleeping! He was a bit angry, but when he saw my huge food stockpile that I had gathered, he laughed. It was THAT big, that it was funny. Nick wandered how many days I must have been planning my ‘disappearance act’ and how many days I must have spent transferring all that food. I will never tell.

As an extra bonus for reading all this, here are some of my cute pictures.
